October 25:

Haunted Hustle 5K Run/Walk

Opt for the 5K or 1-mile Fun Run in this race that raises money for Horry CAST, who focus on reducing youth substance abuse. Wear your best family-friendly costume and start working off that Halloween candy early!

October 25 & 26:

Atalaya Fall Festival and Haunted Castle

Head to Huntington Beach State Park to enjoy two separate haunted house attractions—a not-too-scary maze for the younger set and a haunted castle for the brave of heart. There will also be carnival games, face painting, a firepit and more.

October 26:

Best of the Beach Balls Challenge

This fundraiser for Champion Autism Network will have restaurants competing to see who makes the best meatballs on the beach. There will also be trick or treating, activities for children, vendors and a Halloween car show.

Halloween Saturday Bonfire

There’s nothing scarier than running out of wine! Make sure this doesn’t happen with La Belle Amie’s Halloween Saturday Bonfire. Bring blankets and settle in with some not-so-spooky spirits.

Howl-O-Scream

The North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex will be transformed into a place for thrill seekers and will include hayrides, trick or treating, marshmallow roasting and more. Scare and scare-free zones cater to a variety of excitement levels.

BooFest!

BooFest! at Barefoot Landing includes children and pet costume contests, character appearances, stilt walking balloon artists and discounted rides packages for Barefoot Amusements. Ed Piotrowski will be the guest emcee. A free showing of Hocus Pocus will take place at 7 p.m.

IntraGHOSTal 5K

Don your scariest costume for this Halloween 5K that raises funds for the Claire Chapin Epps Family YMCA. There will also be a Family Fun Run, plus live music, food, carnival games and more after the race.

Walk for the Animals

This walk that raises funds for the Grand Strand Humane Society is the perfect event for fall fun. Enjoy a 5K course, a pet parade, local vendors, food and more. Pet (and human costumes) make the day even more fun!

October 27:

Halloween Extravaganza

The Long Bay Symphony will present a concert filled with macabre masterpieces inspired by the fantastical and frightful. Actors from Atlantic Stage will take part in the show, so enjoy this spooky extravaganza.

October 31:

Halloween on the MarshWalk

Eat, drink and be scary at the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk on Halloween night. There will be trick or treating, as well as costume contests for both children and adults with great cash and prizes up for grabs.

Participating merchants throughout Barefoot Landing will be ready to greet costumed children and provide treats.
