Join Dr. Roy Talbert as he talks about his book, The Journal of Peter Horry, South Carolinian. Peter Horry was a Georgetown rice planter and was one of the founding fathers of South Carolina. During the American Revolution, he served under the commands of General Francis Marion and General Nathanael Greene. A book signing will follow the presentation.
