Children between the ages of 7 and 15 are invited to enjoy this afternoon on an undeveloped beach. Walkers will observe the falling tide and bare trees left after erosion, as well as comb the beach for rare finds like the Lettered Olive, the South Carolina state shell. They will also see fish swimming in the tide pools and shore birds scattering the beach. Reservations for this three-mile hike are required.
