The Women in Philanthropy and Leadership for Coastal Carolina University honored five women with ties to South Carolina during the Celebration of Inspiring Women as part of the Women's Leadership Conference on Thursday, February 27, 2014, at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Honored were Paula Harper Bethea, Mary Ann Bishop, Nathalie Dupree, Mamie "Peanut" Johnson and Wendi Nix.
