After the initial excitement of three months without school, boredom inevitably creeps in. Enter Camp Invention, a day-camp sponsored by the Children’s Museum of South Carolina and held at Myrtle Beach High School. Open to rising first graders through sixth graders, the camp fosters science literacy, the arts, inventive thinking skills and more. By immersing children in the challenges that draw upon their own curiosity, this learning experience is disguised as pure fun.
