Jeff Heifner’s award-winning one-act play tells the story of two teenagers: Tom, a popular ex-football player who is failing school and sees no future for himself, and Joe, an awkward, sheltered kid who hangs on Tom’s every word. While spending the night camping beside a lake, the friends make a decision that will change their lives forever. Directed by senior B.F.A. acting major Eleni Kash, Boys’ Play explores teenage friendship, sexuality, and teen suicide.
