El Cerro has been serving the Grand Strand the finest Mexican cuisine since 1991, and it’s easy to see why they’ve expanded to seven locations across the Grand Strand in that time. Opened by a trio of friends that noticed the need for family-friendly Mexican cuisine on the Grand Strand, Ricardo, Salvador, and Eriberto opened the very first El Cerro in North Myrtle Beach. Since then, they’ve been serving up tasty Mexican dishes, such as their enchiladas poblanas, which includes three enchiladas with grilled chicken and spinach, topped with roasted poblano pepper cream sauce, queso fresco, roasted peppers, sour cream and served with rice on the side.
