South Carolina’s largest one-day volunteer cleanup is organized by the S.C. Sea Grant Consortium and the S.C. Department of Natural Resources and has taken place annually since 1988. This is a great opportunity to play your part in clearing beaches, rivers, lakes, marshes and swamps with thousands of other South Carolinians. Following the sweep the Ocean Conservancy interprets all the debris to help learn the sources of littering. So get your hands dirty and help fight pollution.
