The Long Bay Symphony is partnering with the Carolina Master Chorale, the Bulgarian National Vocal Ensemble and other vocal soloists to present A Melancholy Beauty, an oratorio by Georgi Andreev. This is a part of Violins of Hope and Songs of Life’s month-long Holocaust remembrance series throughout South Carolina. Violins of Hope recovered and restored string instruments played by Jewish prisoners in Nazi concentration camps and will make a special appearance in this concert.
