This yearly event - open to classic vehicles made prior to 1989 - draws big crowds of auto aficionados and more than 3,500 cars to see!  Actor Tom Wopat  from the the 1980s hit show “The Dukes of Hazzard” is also expected to be on hand, along with the souped-up 1969 Dodge Charger “General Lee” from the show. As always, a portion of the proceeds from the Run to the Sun is allocated to local charities, benefitting MS of the Carolinas, Children’s Miracle Network and Grand Strand Miracle Leagues.
