Lace up your running shoes and head out to the 28th Annual Turtle Strut! This event is held in memory of Chief Guy Osborne, and proceeds benefit The Family Justice Center, which provides free training, planning, consulting, and technical assistance to survivors of domestic abuse in Georgetown County. You’ll start the race at the Pawleys Island Nature Park and head south on Myrtle Avenue. From there, runners have two options—turn around in the Bird’s Nest area for the 5K or continue down Springs Avenue (and get a stunning ocean view) for the 8K.
