Grillers Cup will return to Lakewood Camping Resort in 2024 for its 10th year Friday, September 20 & Saturday, September 21. Fire up your taste buds for the two- day event, which raises money for Backpack Buddies of Horry County. The local non-profit provides food, clothing, and other essentials to children. On Friday, teams from across the state will light their grills and compete for the title of Best Wings. The event, which will be held near Lake Perry at the front of the resort, will open to the public at 6 p.m. On Saturday, it’s time for some mouth-watering pork butts! It’s sanctioned and judged by the South Carolina BBQ Association. Saturday’s cook-off opens to the public at 11 a.m.
