While vacationing in Myrtle Beach from Cleveland, Lauren and her family, huge Browns fans, headed to a Browns bar across the street from their hotel. James happened to be their bartender and he asked Lauren if she would like to see a movie on Christmas, which was an old family tradition of Lauren’s. The two spent the rest of her vacation together. After a few months of long-distance dating, James moved to Cleveland. While vacationing in Myrtle Beach the pair went to one of their favorite restaurants, Wahoo’s, and walked on the dock. Lauren apologized that she was too tired to stay out and see their friend’s band play at Dead Dog Saloon. James said he had something that may wake her up and got down on one knee. They then headed to Dead Dog where they danced to a special song played by the band. The pair planned a wedding in Myrtle Beach, where the ceremony took place at Belin Memorial United Methodist Church, where James’ father was the best man. The reception was held on Dead Dog Saloon’s back deck and their colors were Gamecock garnet, black and burlap. The pair lives in Cleveland and is actively looking to relocate to Murrells Inlet or Pawleys Island.
