The couple grew up in the same town and attended the same high school. Fourteen years later they reconnected via Facebook. After two years together, Todd proposed on a walk to The Point in Murrells Inlet. After spending the afternoon collecting shells, he hid the ring inside one for Kerri to find. The ceremony was held at their hometown church, Alice Drive Baptist Church, in Sumter. Todd’s father, the best man, performed an astounding rendition of The Lord’s Prayer to end the ceremony. The bride’s mother handled all the decorating and the reception was catered by family. The pair split their time between homes in Sumter and Surfside Beach.
