The couple met through a mutual friend when Jessica was living in New York. They texted for a few days, and it just so happened that Jessica and her family were traveling to South Carolina for a vacation. She and David had their very first date when she arrived, and the rest is history. The pair dated long distance for seven months until Jessica relocated. They bought their first home together with their three dogs, who are the loves of their lives. David proposed on Thanksgiving Day while playing a family game of Cards Against Humanity. Jessica had her eyes closed since the judge was picking his favorite card, and when she opened them David was down on one knee with a beautiful ring. The Pawleys Plantation wedding featured an outdoor ceremony in front of a beautiful lake. The pair did a sand ceremony with their wedding colors, ivory and sage green. Sage green, ivory and gold made up the color palette for the rustic reception decor, and guests enjoyed snapping shots in a photo booth. Jessica and David live in Conway.
