Jeannie and Nick first met through mutual friends, and from then on they wanted to find out everything about each other. They enjoyed finding excuses to hang out again and again, whether for concerts, movies or cocktails. They shared an interest in golf and music, as well as cheering for their favorite football teams (despite Nick being a Gator and Jeannie being a Gamecock). They also loved traveling together, taking trips to Greece, Alaska and Costa Rica. Nick proposed during a sunset boat ride on the inlet with the pair’s dog, Bentley, there to witness the special moment. The wedding was held at the Dunes Golf & Beach Club, the pair’s dream spot in Myrtle Beach, and had a tropical and elegant theme. Florals included orchids, roses and tropical leaves and all the planning was done in just two months. The pair incorporated special traditions, like a Vietnamese tea ceremony, and guests dined on filet and shrimp and grits. The day was magical for Jeannie and Nick, who live in Myrtle Beach.
