Carly Lewis & Matthew Sharron

Carly and Matt met in a singles small group at their church, Wellspring. Carly’s mom actually paid her to go in the hopes she would meet a nice guy—and she did! After a few months of getting to know each other, Matt called to ask Carly out for putt putt and ice cream. The pair’s relationship was natural and easy. On their one-year anniversary, they went back to their first date places—putt putt, ice cream, Dead Dog Saloon and a bonfire on the beach in Pawleys Island. Once at the beach, Matt pulled out a photo album of the couple’s wonderful memories with dates and notes beside them all. He then popped the question and Carly said yes! The outdoor wedding was held at Wachesaw Plantation. Matt’s youth pastor married the couple. Spanish moss and the beautiful trees were a focal point for the big day, and metal crosses that hung from the branches swung in the breeze off the water. Hanging string lights made the entire venue feel like a dream. Before they made their grand exit, the pair had one last dance, just the two of them, as their family and friends held sparklers. Carly and Matt live in Murrells Inlet.
