Candice and William met at college, but didn’t start dating until both went to Charleston to pursue their graduate studies. After four years together, the couple planned a beach trip for Memorial Day weekend. Candice hurried to Will’s house after work so they could get on the road to beat traffic, and when she arrived he was on one knee with his black lab, Teak, beside him. Teak was wearing a sign saying “Will you marry my dad?” Their families were waiting in Pawleys Island to celebrate the good news. The ceremony was held at the Caledonia Golf and Fish Club, with a theme tying into the natural surroundings under the picturesque mossy oak trees. The pair live in Greenville, S.C.
