Bridget and Nathan were friends in high school and college. After moving away, they caught up with a dinner in 2012, which was the beginning of their happily ever after. They had been together for two years when Nathan proposed at Huntington Beach State Park. Bridget had mentioned that when the time came, she would like to have engagement photos taken there, so Nathan set up a photo shoot and convinced her it was just for fun so they could have some nice pictures. It was raining and Bridget wanted to listen to the Gamecocks on the radio rather than getting out of the truck. After convincing her to meet the photographer, Nathan proposed. The wedding was held at Pawleys Plantation. The reception in the ballroom featured a canvas of the couple above the fireplace. Guests took home personalized champagne glasses.
