Prime Rib

Visited heavily by tourists and appreciated by locals, Cagney’s Old Place Restaurant has been a staple of Grand Strand dining since 1976.  This in part because of location, part because of the eclectic memorabilia, and part because of architecture. But one thing cannot be denied: People come to taste the best prime rib in Myrtle Beach.

Aged in-house and hand cut daily, the slabs are slow roasted and served appropriately au jus. With various cuts ranging from a light 8-ounce prime rib for the moderate meat-eater to a 24-ounce side of beef straight out of the opening sequence for the Flintstones, prepared for any patron ready to tackle a pound and a half of beef.  Paired with a nicely bodied glass of red wine, the savory and tender prime rib is an experience not to deny yourself.  9911 U.S. 17, Myrtle Beach, (843) 449-3824, www.cagneysoldplace.com
