Myasthenia Gravis is a chronic autoimmune neuromuscular disease that causes weakness in the skeletal muscles. Symptoms include, but are not limited to; double vision, difficulty speaking, chewing, swallowing, difficulty breathing due to weakness of the diaphragm, a lack of facial expression and weakness of the extremities. Myasthenia Gravis is Latin for "grave muscle." Weekly Bereavement/Loss Support Group
It is often difficult to find a Bereavement group that is ongoing. Sundays, 6 - 7pm - (Free) Weekly Bereavement Support Group exists as a time for the grieving to gather together to feel with each other, talk things out as desired, cry with each other, support each other and perhaps even form new friendships. Those with all kinds of losses are welcome: spouses, relatives, friends, pets, and other types of losses. No RSVP needed - Just Come.
People are experiencing losses during every season of the year and since people grieve their losses for various lengths of time, we have an ongoing weekly support group all year long. A person may begin to attend at any time and stay with the group as long as they feel the need.
