Wachesaw Plantation Club, a member-owned private country club, was founded in 1985 in the historic Wachesaw Plantation community, once the site of two 18th century rice plantations. Membership at WPC is more than just another golf club membership, it’s a lifestyle.

GSM: Tell us about Wachesaw Plantation Club.
WPC:
Wachesaw Plantation Club provides a unique blend of social and dining activities for its membership and their families. Our facilities include a Tom Fazio-designed 18-hole championship golf course, tennis and pool complex, clubhouse and Kimbels Restaurant. We offer a full social calendar that includes many special family and holiday events. WPC is the perfect place to meet new people and develop lifelong friendships. GSM: How are you involved in the community?
WPC:
We offer complimentary memberships to the members of the golf and tennis teams from Waccamaw and St. James high schools. We have hosted the First Tee Program at Wachesaw for the past four years. We host the annual Can-Am, Junior-Am Tournament along with other charity events. These are just a few examples of the many ways we give back.
