Culinary students offer tasty meals in Myrtle Beach, Conway

 

 

 

Horry-Georgetown Technical College’s culinary arts students are back at school, and that’s good news for those looking for a fine dining experience at affordable prices. 

Two campuses of Horry-Georgetown Tech offer incredible dining deals during the spring semester. The Fowler Dining Room on HGTC’s Conway campus features the second year Culinary Arts students, who prepare and serve lunch to residents and visitors. Located in the Fowler Culinary Arts Center (Building  600), the lunch is a five-course meal served at noon Tuesday through Thursday through April. The menu changes daily and the cost is $13 per person. For reservations, call (843) 349-5334.

The Grand Strand campus near The Market Common offers lunch and dinner. Beach Bistro 354 is a learning laboratory for first year and second year students. Lunch is served at noon and dinner is served at 6 p.m. through April at the Conference Center on the Grand Strand campus. Both meals are $11 per person. For reservations, call (843) 477-2040. 

Sample menu items include Seared Duck over Wasabi Mashed Cauliflower and Baked Salmon with Stone Ground Grit Crust at the Fowler Dining Room and Braised Beef Short Ribs with Creamy Polenta and Carrots at the Beach Bistro 354.
