Kevin and Summer Goude are the owners of First Choice Heating and Air, located in Aynor. They have more than 25 years experience in the HVAC industry, serving the Grand Strand, as well as Georgetown and Marion, and have recently launched a new location in North Carolina.

“We not only provide maintenance, service, repairs, and replacements but doing business on a personal level is embedded in our company roots and values,” says Kevin. “We have partnered with the industry’s leading providers to deliver the most state-of-the-art heating and cooling systems within the industry that are accompanied by the best warranties, including products with the highest customer satisfaction ratings.”
When Kevin and Summer first started their business, they quickly realized that making friends while repairing air conditioners was more fulfilling rather than doing business as usual.

“Relationships were developed at the kitchen table of strangers who have now become lifelong friends and mentors to our family. As we continue to grow and expand in the market, we are determined to keep those same principals,” Kevin explains.

First Choice Heating and Air stays current on all HVAC-related updates, and their leading service is the Platinum Service Shield maintenance program, which offers industry-leading benefits at a price point lower than most entry-level programs offered by their competitors.

Also, as Kevin explains, the company has adopted insulation and attic renovation to their product offerings in order to ensure ideal comfort for new installations as well as guarantee performance and solutions for their customers on repair/replacement options.

First Choice has many success stories, but one of their most recent was helping restore one of the Grand Strand’s most renowned restaurants after a tragedy.

“Helping a locally owned and operated business get back into working order so that their employees are not out of work due to closures from a catastrophe has been a very rewarding challenge, and one that we take a great deal of pride in,” he notes.

Philanthropically, First Choice is involved with their community, partnering to sponsor sports teams and community outreach programs. The company has also received industry-wide rewards, winning the coveted Lennox Centurion Award for four straight years. The award honors the top 6% of all its North American dealers.
“First Choice has won this by setting the standard in the southeast for customer service and installation quality through employee development and training,” Kevin says.
