Make your Valentine’s Day delicious and decadent with these treats

ChocoVine
Holland, $8–$11
This unique combination of Dutch chocolate and red wine comes in four flavors: espresso, chocolate, raspberry and, the newest, whipped cream. All of these are delicious, creamy and loaded with 14 percent alcohol. Enjoy it chilled after dinner. This product was among the first chocolate wines, being introduced a couple of years ago, and is the most available locally.

Chocolate  Shop
Washington, $10
This red wine and chocolate blend comes from Walla Walla, Washington, in two flavor packages. The chocolate blend has aromas of black cherry and hints of cocoa powder on the finish. The chocolate mint is layered with chocolate and a hint of mint at the end. Both are on the sweet end of the scale and 12.5 percent alcohol.

ChocolatRouge Dark Red
California, $9–$12
This new Gallo product comes in three flavors–milk chocolate, sweet red, and this full-bodied dark red wine that appears just like a ruby red wine, but features definite aromas of black cherries and dark chocolate. Talk about a pairing. It’s awesome with good dark chocolate; you can hardly tell them apart!

Chocolato Wine
Moldova, $5
From the small country between Romania and the Ukraine on the Black Sea, this wine’s impressive package is copper-colored paper over glass with a screw cap. The contents are a milk chocolate color and are 14 percent alcohol. It’s not as thick as some, but drinks almost like a grown up version of chocolate milk.

Cocoa di Vine
Florida, $10
“Kiss your inhibitions goodbye!” invites this “sinful decadence.” What more do you need to pick up a bottle? Created by Opici Wines using a white wine blended with chocolate, it comes in three flavors: cherry, chocolate and espresso. Each has a rich chocolate taste and silky finish. It’s great with chocolate desserts or alone.
