The Brightwater Sweetheart Walk/Run helps raise funds for the American Heart Association

February is a month for hearts, whether it’s spending time with the one you love for a special Valentine’s Day or raising awareness about disease and prevention as part of American Heart Month. The Brightwater Sweetheart Walk/Run is the perfect chance to get your heart pumping, as well as to help others. Hosted by Brightwater Senior Living Community, this is a great day of exercise that benefits a great cause—the American Heart Association. The AHA works to fight heart disease and stroke, the number one and number two killers globally.

This event is open to all ages and skill levels. Choose to run or walk a 5K route or a one-miler, or opt to stroll at your own pace and distance on the continuous Sweetheart Loop. Brightwater is an independent senior living community whose number one goal is to help their residents live longer, happier and healthier lives. They offer a vibrant community for folks to enjoy retirement the way it’s meant to be. Come get your own heart pumping as you help raise funds for heart health!
