Come join us for the 2024 Myrtle Beach Charity Golf Tournament to benefit the South Carolina ALS Association chapter (https://www.als.org/south-carolina). Funds donated to the chapter will go toward helping persons living with ALS by providing financial assistance, needed medical equipment, research and various support activities.



ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease in which a person’s brain loses connection with the muscles resulting in complete muscle atrophy.  Patients eventually lose the ability to speak, move, eat, and breathe. The cause is unknown and there is currently no treatment or cure.  It’s a 100% terminal disease that strikes approximately 30,000 Americans and the average lifespan for someone with ALS is only 2-5 years from diagnosis! The illness impacts our veterans at twice the rate as those who did not serve.
