Jaclyn and Matt were born only 10 miles and 20 days apart and both grew up in New Jersey. They competed in Junior Olympic sports, spent a summer in the small coastal town of Bay Head and had their first jobs on the Seaside Heights Boardwalk. Despite all these coincidences, the two never met. They both ended up relocating to the South Florida, again within 10 miles of each other. It wasn’t until a Bumble encounter in January 2017 that they finally connected. They enjoyed dinner and a movie, and Matt knew Jaclyn was the one when he looked over to see her devouring her popcorn and meeting his gaze with a guilty smile. The pair adopted a miniature Schnauzer named Brady, and Jaclyn came over to Matt’s house after work to see Brady wearing a sign that said, “Mommy, will you marry Daddy?” The wedding and reception were held at Wachesaw Plantation. The theme was “Elegant Ivory and Champagne Plantation Wedding.” Romantic soft colors of gold, ivory and champagne highlighted the natural beauty of the venue, with its dramatic live oaks and gorgeous river views. Guests were greeted by a table full of champagne glasses, each of which had an acrylic stirrer with the guest’s name and table number etched into it. This “sip and be seated” concept was a big hit. Jaclyn and Matt live in Boca Raton.
