Suzanne and Kyle grew up in the small town of Andrews and began dating in high school. They continued dating through college and graduate school and before they knew it, 10 years went by. Suzanne thought that nothing could get past her, but she was totally surprised when Kyle proposed. He had asked her to film him doing a cold water challenge on the beach in Pawleys Island and as soon as she hit record, he dropped to one knee and asked her to marry him. The ceremony was held at Suzanne’s childhood church of Trinity United Methodist Church in Andrews and the reception took place at Saw Mill Pond Vineyards, which is owned by the bride’s family. White hydrangeas and lots of candles enhanced the mood of the vineyard while people danced in the open-air pavilion to the music of The Atlanta Pleasure Band. A caricature artist was even there to give guests a keepsake to take home. The two live in Pawleys Island.
