The couple met through a mutual friend at the Boathouse in 2006. After six years together, Matt proposed on a Sunday morning at home, catching Maren completely off guard. The ceremony was held at the Reserve Harbor Yacht Club in Pawleys Island. The wedding was earthy and featured succulents instead of flowers. They live in a home they purchased in the Forestbrook area.
