It was “Love at First Swipe” for Kirsti and Brendon. After meeting on a dating app, the couple dated for a year before an engagement. At Christmas time, Brendon and family took Kirsti to New York City for the weekend. After a day full of photographs around the city, Brendon wanted an extra special photo in front of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. Little did Kirsti know she was posing for a video as Brendon began to kneel down to propose. Kirsti called her mother who was so excited that she accidently hung up the phone, scaring the future groom for a few minutes before she called back to explain. The ceremony was held at First Presbyterian Church of Myrtle Beach and the reception was at the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes. Kirsti and Brendon’s wedding had a vintage glam theme and friends and family from all over the country flew in for the event. Kirsti’s ring was handmade from both mother’s diamond rings, as well as a new diamond bought just for her. The couple lives in Myrtle Beach.
