The pair met through mutual friends and had an immediate connection and many similar interests. After three years together, Roland proposed on Christmas morning with rings designed by their good friend Ashley Hoffman of ashhoffman Jewelry. The wedding took place at Atalaya at Huntington Beach State Park, where the bride’s father walked her down an intimate flower-lined pathway. The small ceremony was set amongst gorgeous greenery and the reception featured a bluegrass band and the couple’s symbol, a honeybee, hidden subtly throughout.
