The bride and groom met through mutual friends at a pool party in Aynor and happened to run into each other about a week later at a bar in Myrtle Beach. They have been together ever since. After three and a half years of dating, much of which was long distance while Jordan was in law school in Charleston, the holidays brought the pair together. Under the tree with family, Kandace opened a pair of UGG boots from Jordan, who was insistent she try them on. When she reached inside, she realized a ring box was in the toe of one of the boots. The ceremony took place at Trinity Methodist Church in Conway, followed by a reception at the Riverside Club. The day featured a North (for Kandace) meets South (for Jordan) theme with a minty green, pinks, ivory and gold for colors. The pair were sent off to sparklers in a Volkswagen Beetle.
