The couple attended the same church for three years before even saying hello to one another. After finally speaking for the first time in passing, later that day Jessica posted to social media about wanting a vacation. Jonathan worked for Bluegreen at the time and sent her a private message to come to his job because he could get her a good deal. Though she didn’t buy a vacation, Jessica met the man of her dreams. Jonathan proposed after three and a half months of dating. At Jessica’s parents’ house for Sunday dinner, Jonathan began complaining of a headache. On the porch, Jessica reached into her purse to get him a Tylenol, and instead of the pills coming out of the bottle it was a diamond ring. The wedding took place on Wildberry Farm in Marion. After raining all day, it stopped 20 minutes before the ceremony. The wedding colors were CCU teal and black for Jessica’s alma mater. The pair make their home in Myrtle Beach.
