Jamie Rogers & Joel Boggs

Even though they were in the same 10th grade history class, Jamie sent Joel a friend request on MySpace commenting on a photo of him playing paintball and just like that, they started dating. After eight years, Joel took Jamie to Columbia for a weekend to see a USC baseball game and celebrate their years of dating. That afternoon, they went for a walk through Granby Park. As they were finishing up, Joel got down on one knee and asked Jamie to spend the rest of her life with him. The ceremony was held at the Surf Golf and Beach Club in North Myrtle Beach. The brunch-themed reception featured mimosas, Bloody Marys, an omelet/waffle/crepe station and a full breakfast buffet. Jamie got Joel a groom’s cake in the shape of a bagel with egg, ham and cheese made by Croissants Bakery and their favors were small bags of coffee stamped with a custom label reading, “the perfect blend.” This creative reception was planned all by the bride and groom complete with a sprinkle send off in a 1925 Dodge Brothers. The couple lives in Little River.
