Both Northerners who moved to the South to escape the cold, Jamie and Brian met while they were working at Waccamaw Hospital on Christmas Eve 2009. Brian, a physical therapist, made a joke about her choice of frozen yogurt treat even though she was a dietician. He then followed her on Facebook and asked her out. After three years together, Brian proposed to Jamie with her dream ring he designed for her. He had been planning on proposing at dinner, but his plans were foiled when Jamie decided to have dinner with a friend instead. The next morning, Jamie was not feeling well and would not stop complaining until Brian cured her with a proposal. The ceremony was held at Litchfield Country Club and had a vintage/rustic theme with coral and lime green as a color scheme. Brian’s sister and Jamie’s brother officiated the wedding, which was very personal and included a wine box ceremony. The pair’s dogs also stopped by the ceremony to pose for some photos.
