Jamesha and Kelly, both locals, lived near each other, went to the same schools, and were introduced by mutual friends. After seven years of dating, they headed out on Jamesha’s birthday, celebrating at the beach over dinner with family. Kelly surprised her when they returned home. He called her into the living to give her what he called “My Final Birthday Gift.” She walked in to find him on one knee proposing, which was the perfect style for the two homebodies. The wedding took place at Atalaya Castle at Huntington Beach State Park, where the couple utilized the tropical aesthetics of the beautiful historic surroundings. The decor was kept simple and chic since the venue itself made such a statement. Palm trees were incorporated into everything from stationery to florals. Jamesha and Kelly recently purchased a home in Carolina Forest.
