Elizabeth, a Carolina Gamecock, and Will, an Auburn Tiger, met on a beach weekend in the Outer Banks, where their first conversation was about SEC football. After three years together, one of which was long distance, Will proposed on the day of the Cooper River Bridge Run in Charleston. Both families and many friends were there, and as soon Elizabeth, her father, and her best friend crossed the finished line, Will was waiting on one knee. The wedding, which took place on the exact same weekend they had met four years earlier, was held at the Cottage on the Creek in Mount Pleasant. It was relaxed and played off the natural beauty of the water outside, with windows that looked out onto the creek and lovely scenery. Elizabeth and Will live in Mount Pleasant.
