Blair is a creek rat. By local definition, this is a kid who grew up in Murrells Inlet, playing, fishing, swimming and usually covered in mud from head to toe. One night working at Bubba’s Love Shak, she met Hawkins, new to the area and ready to become a regular of the MarshWalk. They started dating and after 14 months, Hawkins got on stage at The Hot Fish Club, stopped the band and asked Blair to marry him in front of their closest friends and family. It was only natural that they continue their inlet coincidences and marry at Captain Dave’s Dockside with an after party at Bubba’s Love Shak. Orange, fall flowers decorated the inlet venue and guests boogied down to the sounds of local band Bullfrog.
