Both new to the Myrtle Beach area, Amy and Mike set up online dating accounts in hopes of meeting new friends. After speaking via email and phone for a while, the pair had dinner and the rest is history. After two years of dating, Mike took Amy to dinner with an oceanfront view, followed by a night walk on the beach. Mike got down on one knee right in the water and asked for Amy to be his wife. The wedding was held at the Cooper House, a cozy spot with an elegant and classy feel. Amy walked down a grassy, flower-strewn pathway to harp music. Highlights of the reception included the Shutterbooth, a dance off and the toasts. To top off the day, as the sun was setting the sky featured a brilliant rainbow overhead. Amy and Mike live in Socastee.
