The couple met at a small bar during March Madness. Leland hates sports, but Eric is a fanatic. She approached Eric and managed to district him from his favorite team. After about eight months together, Leland had some family and friends over to celebrate Eric’s birthday. When they were all sitting outside around the fire, he got down on one knee in front of everyone and popped the question. The ceremony was held at the home of Buddy and Marie Lindsay, family of the bride, in Pawleys Island. Leland wanted the day to be simple and low key with just close family. It was small and intimate, complete with breathtaking views of the river. Baby blue, the bride’s favorite color, was her wedding color. After the ceremony and dinner, the wedding party took a magnificent sunset cruise with a champagne toast. Leland and Eric live in Knoxville, Tennessee.
